Ayo Technology

In a land long long time ago when horse and carriage was a way to travel. When letters were the way to talk to one another over long distances. When pigeons would be sent to place to place carrying important word. Their communication was limited and you would have to be within very short distances to interact with each other.

I feel that in this error it may have taken away from their social skills. I mean they would have to be with in a couple of feet to have a real interaction conversation. But in another way it probably helped their writing skills. But, besides that they might have acquired good writing skills, they lacked in ayo technology.

Ayo Technology is from a 50 Cent and Justin Timberlake song and they kind of make a valid point. Yes, their song is about how they are tired of stalking hot girls and watching them from their computers and telephone screens, or something like that. But, that is how the new and modern age communicates and interacts. My friends and family spend hours every day online chatting. We can chat all over the world with the click of the button. It is pretty amazing and everyone is so used to it.

I really do not know whether or not the ayo technology is good for our social skills either. Yes, you can talk via video chat or cell anytime to anyone you want but, its not a real interaction if you know what I mean. People spend a lot of time using technology and they certainly get hooked you the ayo tech. It is almost like a drug. But this is the way our future generation are going to act so we might as well get used to it.

Moving Foward

Technology is moving the world forward into a place that was thought of never to be reached. The new and latest products are making life easier in every way imaginable. From making electronics voice activated to reaching the distant stars, everything is possible. Schools are gaining the technology to help reach out to students keeping them interested and well informed.

For every lazy person in the world and every other person who is in to new gadgets, there is something new for you. There is a piece of technology out on the market and it is the beginning of a new age. I believe the new Sync: Voice-activated digital technology brought to you by Microsoft is the key to the future. Right now the Sync has been introduced in vehicles. It controls Mp3 in your car. There is no longer the use of fingers, just your voice does all the controlling from switching songs to searching artists. It's amazing. This voice-activated system is going to grow and move onto TV, computers, and telephones. Soon you will be driving your car with your mouth not your hands.

Yes cars now have the hands free technology but they are evolving even more. The way we travel on this planet and in outer space is all moving forward. Have you heard of the iCar. Apple has moved from the iPod to a car and has gotten Mitsubishi to build it. The is going to be fully equipped with all Microsoft features. It will be a moving computer. Don't order yet, because it is not out. NASA has reached the moon and has landed a robot on Mars. They don't plan on stopping. As of right now NASA is organizing a trip to Mars again, but this time they plan on landing people on Mars. And to do that every day they are figuring out make improved machines that allow them to move faster and to go farther. They are inventing new and improved jet fuel and engines to make their dreams come true.

Schools are also moving forward. Students getting the technology that they deserve. Colleges are creating learning centers that have laptop accessibility's and all classrooms will have the same deal. In high schools and colleges all over the nation have made their classrooms equipped smart boards. These smart boards allow teachers to teach and write from anywhere in the classrooms using a laptop. Technology is moving the world forward and making it a better place.

Cell Phone Magic

I was eight years old when I saw my first cell phone. It was my mom's cell phone and boy did i think that was cool. It was gigantic grey plastic thing that wrapped around the side of her face. The antenna was about ten feet long and still got really bad service. I remember thinking how amazing these new pieces of technology was and I thought my mom was the only person who had one. I was right. Not many people back then had the cell phone and most people around the world have never heard of a cell phone. But that was then.

Cell phones are all over the place now days and they are getting more and more complex everyday. I turn on the TV and there is always a different cell phone commerical. From when my mom had her first piece of crap cell phone to now the times have changed. The cell phone is changing the every day world and especially the business world. When i was in 6th grade everybody had a cell phone. Cell phone popularity is generating all throughout the world. And the capabilities of the cell phone are just amazing.

What can't the cell phone do? It has become the whole package, and this package comes in all different shapes and sizes. Cell phones can be as small as your thumb and are as big as a grown adult's hand. But it seems like the case for size is "smaller is better." The ski is the limit for the technology being boosted onto the cell phone.

From only being able to dial and receive phone calls to being able to text and picture message people all over the world. Cellular phones are magical they can do whatever you want. If you need to take a picture and you don't have your camera, the cell phone is there. If you are in the middle of a movie and can't make an important phone call, the cell phone is there with texting. If you feel like working out and you forgot to bring your CD player; most cell phones have mp3 technology now. You can even get on the web from your cell phone. Cell phones must cause some sort of brain damage because they are just too good to be true. I can't think of one more capability that someone would need....o yea watch a movie. Wait the cell phone can that as well.

From being a large piece of junk that weighed twenty pounds and blocked one side of your vision when held up to your ear to a small pocket size computer that makes calls. The cell phone might be the greatest piece of technology ever to be made. Talking to someone from opposite points of the globe was something never thought to ever be done.

Going Green

We as a country need to go green. Green stands for anyway to help the environment stay healthy. And believe me there are a lot different ways to help protect planet earth. If we don't take action now chances are it won't affect our generation. No big deal right? But what about our children, their children, and their children after that? Do we want to to put our future in jeopardy. I know I don't. Just doing the simplest things everyday will help keep the environment strong and clean. Also, in addition with the green movenment there are some new advances in technology that will help push us to reach our goal as well.

The light bulb. It is pretty important in our everyday life, wouldn't you say? We need it. Can see with out it. But our regular old light bulbs, that we have been using for decades, have been wasting important energy. Our society needs something better and more efficient, that will last longer. There is a modern bulb that fits the going green needs. There are new Energy Smart Bulbs that lasts for eight years and saves 66$ in engery costs. It is a 20watt bulb that is equivical to an old 75watt bulb. The thing pumps out 1300 lumens and has a lifespan of 12,000 hours. This bulb kics some serious butt.

Who has heard of solar power? Pretty much everyone in the whole entire world. So, why haven't we made the switch yet, what's wrong with everyone? It is a great way to save engery and money. Solar power can be transformed to do everything now a days. There are solar powered cars, buildings, and homes. Yes, they cost a lot to install or buy, but after a couple of years you safe as much money as you spent. It's great for the environment because it does not polute the air and you can never run out of sun.

There are new plastic water bottles that use 30% less plastic...buy them...water is water. Making the switch to using electric cars. The car companies are just pumping out new electric models that will suit all your needs. They even look cooler. Wind Mill technology is providing tons of energy produced by air. There should be wind mills all over the place. If you want to go all out and save some energy and some money, go buy or build a house under ground. It is the newest way to live. The earth provides the air temperature in the house which saves lots of money. So try some of these new things because life is always greener on the green side.

Car Tech

It's late at night. You are alone in your car trying to find your way to a distant relative's house. The directions you were given have failed you and you are now lost. Not only is it pitch black and foggy outside, but it starts to rain hard. The unfamiliar slipperier roads are causing your car to slide and lose traction and putting you in an unsafe environment. This makes it hard to use your phone and call for directions without stopping. The situation you are put in now is not an uncommon one to be in, it happens to someone everyday. Just imagine how much better off you would be if your car had the technology to get you through this dilemma.

Car Technology is improving everyday. The technology is not only making driving easier but safer as well. The GPS technology is now considered standard in every car. There is blue tooth technology, which is becoming more popular every day. Having the technology that allows your car to know when it’s raining. Also the ability and luxury for cars to be able to park themselves is now available in some models.

GPS, Global Positioning Satellite, is one of the most helpful inventions known to man. If you don't know how to get somewhere, just plug it into the GPS and there are your directions. Getting lost on your way to a relative's house is no longer a problem when you have GPS in your vehicle. It is uncommon to find a new car that does not have GPS. It's amazing how no matter what location you plug into the thing, it always knows the how to get there. Every road is on the map, along with rest stops and restaurants. It makes driving a lot easier.

Another helpful tool that is becoming readily available is the Blue Tooth technology in your phones and cars. This technology allows talking on your phone to be hands free. Now both hands are on the wheel allowing you to keep your focus on the road. No more pulling over to make a call or multi-tasking by driving with one hand on the wheel and the other holding your phone. Driving is now safer because of the Blue Tooth technology.

Imagine your car knowing exactly when it starts to rain the same time you do. The technology is now available. The windshield wipers actually can sense when it starts to rain. The wipers then tell your car that it is raining out and the roads are going to start to get slick. The car then relays this message to a drying device located around the brakes. So when it rains and the roads start to get wet, your brakes will stay dry. This allows the driver to slam on the brakes in an emergency situation, as if it was not raining outside. Now that's safe.

Who is bad at parallel parking? I'm not bad at parking but a lot of people are GOD AWEFUL. New technology that would be a luxury is having a car park itself. I know there is a new Lexus that parallel parks itself. I have no idea how the car does it but it is pretty amazing. Soon enough cars will be driving themselves. Now, if you are one of those people that choose the far away parking spot over the closer parallel parking spot, you have the technology to do it for you. Safe yourself the long walk, you are just going to have to pay a little extra.

Future Weapons

Everyday the United States military is brainstorming ideas for every type of situation. These ideas are future weapons. The United States military has the most advanced technology and enough income to make these ideas into real life. These future weapons will are being developed and tested now, so in the years to come they will be used on the combat field. Also these weapons are being made to help protect our soldiers more and beat the enemy more sufficiently.

The Corner Shot 40 is newly designed hand held firearm that allows someone to shoot around corners. The idea behind this is to protect the operator from any incoming fire and to allow the operator to fire back with acuracy. The gun is equipped with a carmera on the end of the swizling barrel. The camera transmits a video and thermal image around the corner to the soldier and the rest of the teammates on a screen. The swizzling barrel can rotate 63 degrees to the right or to the left. The stock can be exchanged with a grenade launcher and a 9mm hand gun.

The MOAB Bomb is one of the most powerful weapons in the United States arsonal. MOAB stands for Massive Orndance Air Blast. This bomb is 30 feet long, wieghs 21,000 lbs, and carries nine tons of H-6 explosives. The MOAB can only be deployed from the back of a cargo airplane. It uses a GPS system to pin point its targets. Realistically, one MOAB bomb would not do as much damage as many other smaller bombs, but becasue of it huge blast and the same mushroom cloud a nuclear bomb makes, the MOAB is great phycological threat.

Barrett M107 Rifle is high powered spiner rifle. The M107 was first used in Desert Storm, and worked effictively. The M107 fires over 5,000 feet and can take down anything from enemy personal to park aircrafts. The M107 uses .50 caliber ammo, very long shells that have been used for a long time as well. The design of the gun elimates the amount of recoil, so the soldier and concentrate on a specific target and fire multiple times accurately. The standard Barrett M107 sniper rifle comes with a 10X telescopic sight and a bipod, which makes it even more deadly accurate.

These are just a couple of the United States military's new toys. They all have different specific jobs, but they have one goal in common; to help protect the American soldier in the future on the battle field. These are some of the Future Weapons that are being tested at present time or are already in the field being used. One thing I know is that I do NOT want to be an enemy of the United States of America when they are creating weapons such as these.

Apple is Taking Over

Apple was the first company to have the computer. I can remember the rainbow colored apple logo. Then Apple was left in the dust and over taken by the new rising computer companies such as, HP, Dell, and Sony. But, that is when every body should have bought stock in Apple. Because Apple was not doing to well and was not selling as good as the other companies. Now, Apple is on the move, and moving to the future. And boy would I like some of that Stock!!

Apple began the MP3 Age, and have been on top of all there competitors with their IPod. The IPod started as a box that you could only place music on. Now, it does everything! It can hold thousands of songs and play videos. The sizes range from as small as your thumbnail(the shuffle) to the size of your hand, with a wide screen to watch your movies.

The IPod has now transformed into a phone, the IPhone. The IPhone does it all. It has the same sleek design of a IPod, except for the big touch sensitive screen on the front. With the IPhone you can get online and surf the web and check out the latest sports news or you could get online to check your email. It has all the capabilities of any other phone as well; call and text. If you are lost, the IPhone has its own personal GPS and can give you directions to the nearest restaurant. It doesn't stop there. The IPhone can also play music and videos, as well as take pictures. Now, for all those people out there that like to have there office where ever they go, instead of bringing your phone, MP3, camera, and laptop; you can just bring your fully capable IPHone.

There is more. The Apple laptops are equipped with everything as well. The new Apple Laptop is not yet out but seems to be at the top of the line and fully loaded. The New Mac OS X Leopard, has the same sleek design but now has 300+ new features. That's pretty impressive. It is equipped with IChat, anyone who does not know what that means, it means you can have a visual conversation with somebody from any location. The Leopard has a new organizing function that helps you reduce your computer clutter. It also has a time machine. Yes, that is right a time machine, but this does not take you through the past, it allows you to see how your system was on any day and restore the file. Nice for viruses. One last function it has is how you can view your files. They can be viewed the same way you would view your music on your IPhone, one can preview a page before they open it.

Apple is got it all. Not only do they have the great advanced technology, but they have the look. When someone thinks about how things are in the future, two words come into mind; smooth and simple. Apple has both of them covered. All Apple's products have smooth sleek covers and all of them make life pretty simple. Pretty basic easy to learn advanced technology. As long as Apple continues with what they are doing, they should be leading the pack for a long time.

Retired NFL #'s

To play in the NFL is one of the most greatest accomplishments an athlete can do. But, an even greater accomplishment is to have your number retired. Almost every team in the NFL has retired a former player's jersey and most likely that same player has been inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame. These players obviously have made an impact for their team when they played. Here are some of the players that have their jersey numbers retired.

Ruining back for the Cleveland Browns, number 32, Jim Brown. Brown went to Syracuse University and played football and lacrosse their. He was an All-American in both sports. After college he went to play for the Cleveland Browns. He played in Cleveland for nine seasons. In Cleveland he carried the ball 2,359 times, collected 12,312 yards, and106 touchdowns. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1971.

Linebacker for the New York Giants, number 56, Lawrence Taylor. Taylor went to University of North Caroline and dominated his offensive opponents. After college he was drafted by the New York Giants. He is known to be one of the most famous pass rushers to have ever played, even though he was a linebacker. Over his career of 13 seasons, he made 132.5 sacks and nine interceptions. He was inducted into the hall of fame in 1999.

Another furious linebacker, played for the Chicago Bears, number 51, Dick Butkus. Butkus attended University of Illinois where he was a two time All-American. Later he was drafted by the Chicago Bears. He played for the Bears for nine seasons. He was said to be one of the meanest, nastiest linebacker to ever play in the NFL. I remember watching a You Tube video of NFL greatest hits and there is one clip of Butkus picking up a running back and viciously slamming him into the ground. After he made a hit, he would get in the ball carriers face and let him know who hit him. After his career the Bears retired his jersey and in 1979 he was inducted into the hall of fame.

One last player that has made a difference on the football field and off the field, would have to be Pat Tillman, number 40. He did not have a long career playing safety for the Arizona Cardinals, he actually choose to leave the NFL to fight for our country in Iraq. He was killed in action when he served, and the Arizona decided to retire his jersey. He was known for his courage and patriotism. He was an inspiration on and off the football field.

Vick and His Jersey....

Who has been following the incident with Mike Vick??? Well you probably know more about it than me. I know that Vick has been involved with having or hosting dog fights at his and family members homes. I know that there are tons of dogs buried in his back yards. It's pretty messed up and I'm sure most people feel the same way. Why would a man like him, who has basically everything anyone could want, who is pretty much untouchable, and he goes and does something sick and stupid like this. Now he is not playing football and has to go to jail or has some punishment. It's probably not one of the best times in his life.

I'm sure Vick has lost a lot of fans across the country. I know I miss watching him play. He was awesome, and I hate the Falcons. GO STEELMEN!!! But, guess what some of his fans are doing now? They are taking his number 7 jersey and sending to the The Atlanta Humane Society. The Atlanta Humane Society said that they are receiving dozens of jerseys from across the country. The Society did not know what to do with them at first, but they say that they have been putting them to good use.

The Atlanta Humane Society were getting more and more jerseys. Tons of emails from people talking about Vick. So the people of Atlanta Humane Society taking Vick's jersey and helping the dogs at the local kennels. The Vick jersey has become the kennel mop. The jersey has also provided great bedding for the animals.

I think this is great. Vick screwed up and now his jersey is being used to pick up poop and mop up pee. The dogs apparently like the new attention and bedding. Vick made his bed and now he has to sleep in it.

Best NFL Player to Ever Wear the Number 43 Jersey!

He is in his prime, he is bad ass, and he wears the number 43. That's right Troy Polamalu for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He is the all around football player. He plays strong safety and attacks the football, not only on the ground, but in the air. He seems to find a way to be in the right spot at the right time.

Troy Polamalu was born on April 19, 1981 in Garden Grove, California. In high school not only did he play football, he played baseball and basketball, and was really good at it. He was the running back and defensive back for his high school team. He was then recruited to the play at the University of South California. Hey Bengal fans guess who he roomed with??? Heisman Trophy winner Carson Palmer. He was drafted by the Steelers in the 2003 Draft. He was 16th overall in the draft.

Troy is the man. I have not yet see him miss a tackle. He plays smash mouth football and lets the ball carrier know he is out to kill. But is killing something this long haired man would do? I think not. Outside of football he is a very soft spoken, christian family man. He also does those charity commercials and helps kids climb over big tall walls...he does everything.

Did you know he is of Samoan descent? Me neither until I just looked it up online. You know who is also of Samoan descent, is the big jacked security guard from the movie, "You me and Dupre." That's a funny movie. Actually its not that great. Him and Troy actually look a little alike.

What's with the long hair? I know he likes it and does not want to get it cut, but you can't read his jersey(even though everyone knows who he is) and it must kill when people drag him down by his hair. Has anyone seen that one game where he was dragging some guy from the back of his head. That was pretty bad ass. Troy is the man, GO STEELS!!!
